Teenage
Crime Control
Crime Control is required to ensure safety for all. One
strategy to make citizens rely less on policemen for protection from each other
is to put security cameras everywhere (home, business place, street, avenue). But
that is not all that can be done. Some procedures may reduce teenage
delinquency in today's society.
First
of all, attending to early
childhood education programs is an effective way to reduce crime in our
environment. An example of this can be Multisystem
Therapy that is based on the empowerment of the parents to return the “take
charge” of parenting, with availability of accompaniment every day from a team
of highly qualified professionals in clinical and psychosocial intervention
that gives them tools to educate their children. Also, there is a program
called intervention where young people are taken to jail for several days, they
make them see reality as the day-to-day routine in jail living locked up and
having to constantly fight for their lives.
Second,
avoiding drug abuse in young people is good plan to reduce violent behavior that
is caused by particular drugs. Teenagers who use drugs
excessively are more likely to act
impulsively or aggressively and cannot always think about their actions as a
typical adolescents would. For instance, theft is committed to fund an
addiction.
Third,
properly punishment for teenagers who commit criminal acts is one of the best
prevention to crime in the society. It is crucial that the juvenile justice
system continue to improve in the area of decision-making and adolescent
development for juvenile’s penalties when they make a bad action that leads to
arrest. Besides, no criminal act should be allowed ignored because they are
just young, as people often allege when it comes to a young family member who
committed such an act.
To
conclude, some methods can be successfully applied to control youth crime. The
influence of educational programs to help each parents to keep the domain of
their adolescents, avoid drugs abuse that cause savage mood, and the involvement
of justice to punish properly any action out of order in young people is more
than can be applied to decrease crime in
those days.
